Unorganized retail shops are highly useful to low- and middle-income consumers in providing various essential commodities in cash or credit modes. Consumers are facing problems of higher price, poor quality, lack of freshness, poor consumer relationships, improper product handling, limited product variety, small quantum of transaction and insufficient parking area in unorganized retailing. Nearly half of consumers are realizing that the level of problems in unorganized retailing is moderate. Significant difference exits amongst socio-economic profile of consumers and problems faced by them in unorganized retailing. Problems faced by consumers in unorganized retailing are negatively, moderately and significantly related with their repurchasing behaviour. Therefore, unorganized retail stores should offer good quality of products at reasonable prices to consumers and they must give fresh products and maintain good relationship with consumers.
