An Investigation on Women Empowerment and Types of Empowerments

Published 2021-12-23

Abstract

Ever since the early civilization came into existence, women have been deprived of their rights to equality in almost every field, including education, the most vital element of overall human development. Gender equality has come to be seen as essential to a country's social and economic progress as well as to its overall health. One of the main components of UNDP's Sustainable Development goals is the promotion of gender equality and women's empowerment. It entails advocating for women's equal rights, opportunities and access to resources so that they may make their own decisions and take charge of their life. Women who are empowered contribute to social advancement, economic prosperity, and sustainable development. They actively participate in leadership roles, education, healthcare, and decision-making processes. A society where women's views are heard, their abilities are appreciated, and their potential is fully fulfilled will be more balanced and diversified as a result of women's empowerment. It is a crucial step towards creating a more just and peaceful society for everyone.
