Analyzing the Role of Headmaster in Secondary Schools

Published 2021-12-23

Abstract

In educational administration, the secondary school headmaster is a well-established post. However, opinions on the acceptable and functional functions of this position are far from settled. Many studies on the function of the principal in school improvement have been undertaken across the world (SI). The head master does her best to deliver a better education for students; she seeks to meet stakeholders' expectations in terms of enhancing teaching and learning, school infrastructure (e.g., building upgrades), and keeping her teachers motivated and parents satisfied. Lack of financial resources, teacher turnover, and resource management are all limiting problems in SI, while a strong school management committee and enthusiastic instructors are enabling elements.
